Catherine Spalton, Communications Officer at Wycombe District Council has responded to the issues raised by the article below.
"The site for the new play area was chosen by a clear majority of local residents, following consultation. Access will be across flat grass, with a rough track in the grass along the edge of the woods. Should there be an identified demand for installing a small pathway once the play area has opened, we will investigate the cost and the feasibility."
"We are aware that there was an incident where some stones were thrown at a local resident's greenhouse, which broke some panes of glass. Our contractors spoke to some local children, who were hanging around the play area site a few days after the incident, about throwing stones; there have been no further incidents of this nature reported.
The current National Play Guidelines state that play areas do not require dog proof fencing; fencing is only required where the play area is near to a road, a cliff or something similar. We would encourage responsible dog ownership in the vicinity of a play area."
