Power to the people as building work halted!
on Wednesday 25 April 2007 - 14:49:47 | by The EditorBuilding work has been halted on the former Micklefield Inn site due to the developer changing the plans without gaining permission. A local resident tipped off the council who then slapped an order on the building site on Monday 23rd April banning any further work for the next 28 days.

The NAG is a partnership between local residents and police who are working on three priority areas: anti social behaviour, anti social car use and drugs.

Graffiti workshops in Lance Way

There are lots of positive changes going on in Lance Way so watch this space for more news.
Micklefield Community Library-open for business!

It is now funded by the people of Micklefield through the charitable company Micklefield Matters Ltd which is headed up by a group of local people. Please use this fantastic community facility to borrow books or use the computer and internet.
Micklefield Matters is currently working with Bucks County Council to put in a lottery bid to gain funding to replace the current building with a new library and family learning centre.
